Not really. The base 14 fonts are fonts whose attributes are
known to the PDF viewer, and which therefore needs no FontDescriptor.

The actual names of the "standard" Asian fonts is irrelevant. They
are used to substitute, in the same way as the Adobe Sans MM and
Adobe Serif MM fonts are used.  The task is easier (in one way)
because far eastern fonts are largely monospaced.

So, you can non-embed any name you like, WITH suitable FontDescriptors,
and the standard Asian fonts are used instead.  Examine a PDF
created by Distiller or PDFWriter from an asian font without embedding,
and use that as a model.
