Hi Shel,

Not Bob W but in any case, my RTSIII (which has failed is not usable at the 
moment) has a top shutter speed of 1/8000th, when it was working I did find 
it useful, particularly in order to take advantage of being able to open up any 
lens a couple of extra stops. I find the 1/1000th max shutter speed of the 
Leica M to be somewhat limiting since if I have ISO 400 film loaded for use 
on an overcast day or for low light work I end up at f16 during sunny days, so 
now I have three bodies loaded with different speed films. My LX kit is getting 
more use than ever now and has proven its worth over and over.
