Humm... I doubt Leica makes its own glass. E. Leitz who use to
make the Leica may, but Leica was bought out by a group of
investors a few years back and is, I understand, a fairly small
company. Even before that Leica had several lenses that where
made by jobbers. I have my doubts about the others, except for
Hoya which is a glass company, too.
