I read that some time ago, and my recollection is that the
comments weren't at all favorable to AF. However, since that
page was put up I suspect there have been improvements in AF
gear. Thus far I'm not convinced that AF is the way to go for
shooting the kinds of people shots I described in my original
post, although I wasn't asking to be convinced, but, rather, to
understand more about how AF might work in a specific situation.
