In the UK, Pentax is running double page ads.  On the left, a
black page with a life size 6x4 of, say the Tour Eiffel or a
cute child.  On the right (paraphrased, as I don't have one in
front of me) the slogan "Here's your [postcard/family snap] now
go and take some good pictures"

Good in the sense that they are inside cover ads, getting the P
name into people's faces.  Bad, as they continue to promote the
ethos that it is the equipment that produces the
quality/goodness/desirability/insertyourownparameterhere in the
photograph.  We all know that's not true, don't we?
