Steve, Very confusing because the differences are pretty minimal. Some folks claim that color rendition of the old K is special. Others say the A's are plastic, but the coatings are improved. Some stick with the all metal M's, but others say no, too compromised! The old K is bigger and heavier (more glass) while the M is a miniature copy. I've used all three and a FA50/1.4. You would be hard pressed to see any difference in the results. Regards, Bob S.
