Yes, Herb , many, many minutes. Commercial flight today demands very, very little of the pilot during the majority of the autopilot controlled flight. It's almost as though the pilot's only job is to get the aircraft off the ground and land the thing. Both activities involve time consuming checklists involving nearly every light and gauge to insure safety.
