I do not pretend to be a know-it-all, and leave everything to an expert like you :-), but I thought the aircraft aluminum was usually designated by 7075-T6 (never mind the number itself as I made it up) for the highest
If you made that number up, then you are very good. 7075-T6 is the most widely used alloy in the military aircraft industry.
