Before I look at the other replies, I want to respond to this. 1. on this list are some very, very experienced photographers who would look down their nose at any entry level camera. 2. the rumor is that the more advanced *ist Digital is going to have the same interface which dismays those who have been waiting years for Pentax to bring out an advanced digital slr. 3. there is a certain element of the "if it ain't perfect it is junk" attitude here. 4. no one here has any real experience with the camera because it is so new, so you are dealing with speculations from folks who have been disappointed before. Try back in 3 months and there will be a lot of real information on the camera here. 5. we hate the name.
