However, if you're happy enough with making your long exposures with the "B for Bulb" setting, then I'd suggest possibly an MX or an ME Super, perhaps - both have fairly bright screens and do not need batteries for B (the MX doesn't actually need them for any shutter speed). Or, if mirror lock-up is important to you, then I'd suggest possibly an old KX. But, the LX "does it all"...
