Variable aperture zooms - Robb said he didn't like them because the background exposure changes as you change focal length. True for aperture ring controlled lenses, but not body controlled ones. I set my 28-105/3.5-4.5 to f8, via the body control, and that's what it will always shoots at.
What happens when you set it via the body control at 1/4 ?
