Hi! Well, I suppose it would be worth something if I tried to introduce myself. Funny enough, just yesterday I wrote a similar message to one of PDA related boards (my former hobby for that matter)...
I am 100,000 years old (in binary) and I am a Software Engineer. I live in Israel some 20 km south from Tel Aviv, but my daily commute is at least 2 hours long (in both directions)... At age of roughly 18 I started to be quite interested in photography and bought me a Zenit ET and Helios 44 (58/2) lens. Then after I managed to misload the film in 1994 I given it as a gift to friend who's now found it probably fully operational... Then followed a period of <sigh> P&S'ting and some attempt at video. Two years ago my daughter was born and just a few weeks thereafter big hunt begun... At the moment I have ME Super (main camera), ZX-L (MZ-6) (backup camera), and thanks to enablement on the list I have 24, 35, 50, 85 soft and 135 mm lenses, all either Pentax or Takumar... I also recently got as a gift Soviet Tair 11a (135/2.8) in M42 mount that I am trying now. I have two zoom lenses - one by Sigma and another by Soligor - they would be sold... Naturally, I am just an amateur who seems to like what he is doing. Thanks to many on this list, I hope I am growing and at least my urge to burn some film does not seem to decline... I seem to have forgotten to mention that I was born in Moscow (USSR) where I've spent 20 years before leaving for good for Israel... I guess that would be it. Thanks for those who read this far <grin>... Boris P.S. On the photos you just posted, you look younger than 47, Frank. P.P.S. 100,000 (bin) = 32 (dec)
