nice in theory. every image editing program i have, about 7, and all my
image browsing programs, another 4, all support 16-bit TIFF files. Pentax's
own RAW converter outputs 16-bit TIFFs for a reason. i'm not in
16-bit/channel mode to be able to see the differences while i am editing,
i'm in the mode so that i don't get posterization when i make many
adjustments.
