K-mount lenses fit and work fine on a Nikon D100 using some old
Spiratone components. The Spiratone K-mount flange, which accepts the
Pentax lenses, is mounted at the front. The flange has a T-mount
back, to which a Nikon T-mount adapter is secured, and this clicks
right in place on the D100. Matter of fact, any T-mount adapter would
work - I have Minolta, Nikon, and there are plenty of others.

But this rig adds about 25mm of extension, so is really only useful
for very long lenses focused 20' or less, or for macro shots, or other
close-ups.
