Do you *need* to have a film camera as a backup? Why not get a compact "point and shoot" digital that you can carry in your pcket when you can't (or don't want to) carry the *istD and lenses? As soon as I got my *istD and Optio S4 I realised that I was unlikely to ever again to use a film camera (just as when I got a minidisc player/recorder I knew I would never tapes again).
