Thanks - that is indeed Lake Michigan, IIRC, the shot was taken from the north end of Grant park, looking south. The bump on the horizon in the middle of the frame is the dome on Shedd Aquarium.

Shot with an ME Super and FA 43 f1.8 on Tri-X, developed in Microdol-X 1:3. The faux-sepia tone is inspired by some 19th century Dutch seascapes (photos) I saw recently at the Chicago Institute of Art.
