This lens is a variable aperture, f4 at 70mm f5.6 at 210. The green mark shows the aperture at maximum zoom.

Hi!

Thanks to Marnie I got this lens. This is one nicely done piece of optic. You know, my 2 years old Sigma zoom suffers from zoom creep while this one is going strong!

Anyway, I have a question - there is a green marking just beside the little point that denotes the set aperture on the aperture ring. What does it mean this green mark?

Thanks in advance and special thanks to Marnie who enabled me with this fine optic!

Now I can surely sell my Soligor 70-222/3.5 lens... Any takers? <grin>
