My name is frank, and I've lately started to "re-discover" my Takumar (bayonet) 2.5 135mm. Everyone says it's a bow wow, but I must still be in denial (not a river in Egypt, btw).
I know it's not the sharpest lens in the bag, but I still think it's fun. I don't think I've gotten a better $30 lens. Wait. I paid $30 for my Yellow Cursed Super Tak 1.4 50mm. Okay, the 135 is the ~second~ best $30 lens I've bought.
cheers, frank

Hi - I'm Bill and I have made scads of beautiful (and even well-selling!) images using my lowly 20mm f4.5 "Bow-Wow Takumar" How can this be? - I'm confused! - Why did people pay me good American greenbacks for these patently inferior pictures? I feel so guilty ;^) Bill
