Hi Ralf, hi George,

I have cabled my remote triger according to George's contribution (pin N°2
is useless).
But I understand (from Ralf's contribution) that sometimes pin N°2 trigs the
light meter.
Is this feature implemented on specific Me II Winder series or in all models
?

On my winder no combination of any of the 3 pins turns the light meter on.
Is this normal ?

On the ORIGINAL ME II WInder remote cable accessory, how many pins are used,
and how does the 'pear'* operate ? With remote button half depressed is the
light meter turned on ?

 | ° | <--- +6V (and/or Light meter ?) = 'L'
 | ° | <--- electrical ground = 'G'

I use a recent 'F' remote cable release to adapt to both my PZ-10 and my
SUPERA+ME II Winder cameras with appropriate stereo jack M/F connections :

 ['F' connector, camera side]
  _
 /°| <--- electrical ground 'G'
 |°| <--- shutter release 'S'
 |°| <--- light + AF release 'L'
 |_|

The 'F' cable release short-cicuits the equivalent of G+L when half
depressed, and G+L+S when totally depressed. Is this schematics suits to the
ME II Winder operating mode ?

Thanks in advance to you George and Ralf, and all 'ME II WInder' specialists
!

Regards,

Cyril

*I do not know if you call it like this ! For me it's the place where
buttons trig + lock are located, on the opposite side of the winder
connector. In the oldies it has the shape of a pear...
