my OS files alone take up about 20G. you install certain things from MS and
they go there no matter what you do. you haven't started snooping in the
hidden and user specific folders have you? they are fixed to the C drive
unless you really, really work at it. Windows is going to put lots of
user-specific things on the C drive all the time.
