[a bunch of lab-tech stuff on actualities in C-41 processing]

It seems to me that rather than attempting to use "push/pull"
terminology from b&w when discussing this, a better visualization
might be that one tests one's C-41 emulsions as to their underexposure
tolerance w/ regular processing. So ; one might say "I can "squeeze"
one stop extra speed from this film's latitude by shooting it at one
stop faster than its rated speed"

That said, I invariably find myself giving color C-41 films an
*extra* third of a stop rather than minimizing its exposure. An
exception is the TMax CN, which I may "rate" at 640asa or even 800
in conditions *requiring* as fast a shutter speed as possible.
