Hi Markus, Yes it would be nice - the question is how many of the settings would have to be saved.
I thought that the Nikon D1X/H had this feature, but it did not. It would have come in handy whenever I used it from the regular photographer. I had to write down all his settings and put them back when I was done. Not that he wanted it that way, but I wanted to minimize his having to check everything whenever he grabbed the camera...
