Hi Bill .... I'm far from well-versed in the two cam / three cam scenario, but I do believe that the lenses can be used interchangeably, and that simply modifications can be made to the two cam lenses to allow them to be used in three cam bodies. IOW, while I may have some details wrong, the bottom line is that it's no big deal.
