Even if they're not producing it anymore it could still be "available" if the existing stock is sufficient for another 3-4 years of sales.

He and his colleagues actually fought over the last Australian shipment (which was December), because they were so desperate for them before they could get them no more. He managed to snag the special version with gold writing on it and was over the moon. I don't mean to contradict you at all, but I haven't seen them advertised, or in stores in Australia since the date he mentioned, and this guy has always been really genuine with me in the past. tan. -----Original Message----- From: graywolf [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, 19 June 2004 11:59 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Nikon to abandon film... My friendly local Pentax Rep tells me that the MZ-S is still currently available from Pentax Imaging, formerly Pentax USA (I would think the name change says something about where they are heading though). He has no information about any plans to discontinue it, so I would say any store saying it is no longer available just does not want to order it. -- Cesar Matamoros II wrote: > -----Original Message----- > From: Tom Reese [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, June 16, 2004 1:48 PM > > Sylwester Pietrzyk replied to Keith Wheley's reply to my reply as follows: > > KW >> ARE Pentax dropping the MZ-S? > > SP >At least it disappeared from Pentax Germany price list and it is no > longer > >>available at biggest German internet shop www.fotokoch.de that fully > > suports > >>Pentax.
