Hi, Have you checked any of the pro-type labs in your area to see if they will rent time on a scanner? Around here there are a few places that'll do that, and they rent time on very high quality Imacon scanners, so the results are quite good. BTW, the Coolscan V is a pretty nice unit, but a Coolscan IV may be an even better deal, especially if you can get it with some accessories.
