I never realized how much *I* liked that shot until I saw it on the web
site. One of the disadvantages of having to work very quickly is you
don't have time to stop and appreciate the results until much later.

Pretty much. Being able to use high ISO settings without film grain
becoming a problem is wonderful. This shot was taken at ISO 400 (it was
a very bright, sunny day) and going up to 800 still yields excellent
results. Even ISO 1600, which I didn't need that weekend, would give
publishable results. The low noise level is pretty amazing.

Sigma EX300/2.8 APO, 1/800th second at f/11, ISO 400. -0.3 exposure
compensation.

I'll have to narrow it down to about 20 of the best shots from the 6-700
I took that weekend...
