General Mills owned the Chinese restaurant chain Joyce Chen in Minneapolis-St.Paul, 
Minnesota.  It was a very successful chain in the twin cities with their 
Swede/Norwegan heritage.  They did focus groups up there and decided to take the chain 
national.

Unfortunately for them, other major Metros in the US had a bigger chinese population 
and more authentic chinese restaurants.  The chain failed and they learned a lession 
about doing their focus groups only in their own back yard.
