Re: D70 vs DS

A few days ago I had the short pleasure to hold and try a D70 in swap for my 
*istD - the *istD just 'feels' better in hand, even the proud D70 owner said 
so.

But I'm still not sure if I'm happy he made a way better picture with my 
*istD then me with his D70 (honestly no surprise here his kit lens against 
my 1.2/50 in extreme lowlight was unfair)

The viewfinder seemed not too bad to me, but I didn't really compare and 
maybe attributed the darkness to the lens.

All you need is a DS or D for parts, and a thousand dollars or so and you

graft the veiwfinder from the Pentax onto the Nikon just like you do

lenses. That is plus the D70 of course.
But what an ugly brute! I'm thinking of designing something from scratch
- something that everyone wants, looks fabulous, works well, full frame
digital - heck the MZ-D would have done it nicely...
