The original was shot with the *ist-D and SMC-P FA 20-35mm f4.0 Converted to B&W using the method Cotty posted in February.
I think it works very well.

I can understand why mankind hasn't given up war. During a war you get to drive tanks through the sides of buildings and shoot foreigners - two things that are usually frowned on during peacetime.
