Plus, as I mentioned originally, the glovebox is reasonably
well insulated - it will take a while for heat to spread in.

And if the contents start out reasonably cool (such as in
the glove box of a MINI), I wouldn't expect problems.

FWIW: chocolate left in the glove box of a MINI parked for
several hours in the sun (California, Las Vegas, Death Valley)
seems to suffer no ill effects.  Just having the camera round
your neck for 20 minutes in those conditions is far more of a
problem:  I've actually had my camera get too hot to handle.
