What a pile of bat droppings! The same sort of thing happened here when Canada's first female astronaut, Roberta Bonday got a great huge government grant to photograph Canada from the air, and publish it in a book. She'd never done a professional photo job in her life, and admitted that she'd only recently become interested in photography, yet she gets a coupla hundred thousand to do this book (from which she got the profits, never having to pay the gov't back a cent).
