Hi Scott ...

While a vest is nice, you've got to think about where you might carry or
stash the gear when not photographing with it.  Would the vest work for 
that?  Although I have a nice vest, I've always thought it to be a little
cumbersome in some situations.  Still, I like having it as an option.
