Did you miss that post (last week I think) with the link to Canon's
official
demo photos from the 5D? Did you notice how awful the edges were on that
wide-angle shot? That was taken with Canon's best glass!
With due respect, it is not Canon's best glass. It is a zoom, and by
default a zoom is not considered the best type of lens under any
situations i can think of.
Eh, yeah, that's true, but it was an L lens, which implies it's one of
Canon's best (or at the very least, a pro lens).
I'd be interested in seeing how their 5D performs with a wide and superwide
primes.
