Tell me about it, I'm driving a 13 year old SC2 which still handles better than the latest Ion that I test drove recently.

Hah! ;-)
If it comes to it, I think I'd rather put a new engine in my SW2, if it needed it, and just keep driving it...

I love the style, the handling is almost totally acceptable (the too-wide turning radius really unacceptable, compared to my old Honda Civic wagon 4 WD!) the open highway ride is most excellent. Little I could ask for in driver comfort, from any standpoint.

Why would I want a new car, right?
I don't know. Somewhere between 6 and 10 years of ownership, things USUALLY just start coming apart, wearing out. Stuff like that.
Who knows? Might not on this car...

Fact is, I'd just as soon put what I'd spend on a new car, in a repair-the-old-one account, and use it to repair and replace what goes wrong on the '99 wagon! Long as they stock parts, that is...

I do love that car, so why not? Hmmmm.

I own a ton of Pentaxes, bodies and lenses, that are much much older than that pretty little car! I still love and use them. So why not?
