Yes, you are correct, Godfrey. I was referring more to a specific active warning, rather than a "wait-until-something-stops" sort of warning - <g>. I have not myself had this problem, whether writing to the card from the cache, or writing to the PC from the camera, etc. (fortunately - <g>). Fred
