Two projects spring to my mind:
1. Shooting horse polo racing in Pakistan, Tibet, Ladakh and Iran. I would
use:
MZ-S (which I don't have, MZ-3 otherwise)
A fast telelens for the action, FA 135/2.8 for example (Don't have. Out of
my camera bag today I would probably take my Tamron AF 90/2.8)
A wide for the surrounding people, probably FA 35/2
2. I would travel round the world and take portraits of all people belong to
various internet communities, trying to show what kind of international
networks that are formed. One chapter per community (this mailgroup would be
the first, of course). Equipment:
MZ-S (silver) or MX
43/1.9
77/1.8 (which I have to buy first)
p.s. I have already some Pakistan horse polo shots from a tournament in
Gilgit, April 1999. They were taken with MZ-3 and a FA 28-70/4. Some of the
pictures are actually pretty good. Great event too. d.s.

Subject: A Harder Game
Okay, now how about this for a slightly different and more difficult game:
Let's say you suddenly win a grant. It allows you to photograph full-time
for six months, of subjects and locales of your choice, and the results
stand a chance of being published as a book. All your film is provided and
all your travel expenses are paid. However, you can only use only one type
of Pentax camera body and two Pentax prime lenses.
Which body and two lenses would you choose?
Totally optional: name the subject and/or locales you'd choose to
photograph.
I think fewer people will brave this game....
