While many 1hr labs can process 120 C-41 (I think all Noritsu film processors can do it), very few will have the needed masks and lenses to print it.
True. Though a lot of places that do have the masks and lenses still don't know what to do with them -- got them as a package or from another place that closed down or whatever.
Also, I have found that when i am processing 120 film at work, the possiblity of getting tar spots is greater, since the 120 film is running in an unused section of the racks, and glop tends to collect around that part of the machine.
When I was in Prague, I needed to find a lab to process my film before I returned home, since I was shooting ISO 800 and had to go through Heathrow both ways, where there's no way in hell they'll hand-check anything you filthy foreigner. Thanks to the PDML, I had the names of a half-dozen places that were considered good for 120 C-41 processing. One was right next to the place we were staying, so I went there near the end of the day and saw them cleaning the racks of the processor with a toothbrush, really meticulously, right out to the edge of the rollers.
I had all my film processed there. -Aaron
