Pentax instruction leaflet provided with the flash adapters/cords warnings you not to put a hot shoe adapter F on camera AND then a flash unit on it. Why the heck? How can this be different from putting an adapter on camera, a 5p cord attached onto it and a flash unit at the other end of the cord?


They don't want the trigger voltage of two flash units going past the flash circuit in the camera, for obvious reasons.
