You (and most everyone else) seem to be focused on the wrong aspects of making
photographs in your guesses.

I really couldn't care at all whether a whizbang or a thingamajig is
responsible for the results I get.

Stop thinking up new things -- it has been mentioned at least twice already.

How much is left to guess? It's 25 years since I used Big Brother Pentax,
so it's hard to remember what, apart from the big format, was so different
about it.

True mirror lockup (not just prefire).

Multiple exposure (It may already be available on existing Pentax DSLRs)

"T" setting for long exposure, like "B" but is click open & click shut -
doesn't need to be held open. (Not sure if it's a P67 feature)

Outside bayonet for long and heavy glass.

Machined brass chassis.

No RTF flash.

Get-out-of-my-way physical presence.

But... are any worth selling your 6x7 kit for?

Regards,
Anthony Farr
