My Jobo Autolab just got put into storage for 3-4 months while our house is completely stripped and renovated. When we return I'll have a very nice indoor :-) workspace which will include my darkroom.
I'm also considering that I should learn some fine art processes, especially platinum/palladium printing, because conventional "sensitized materials" based photography has become a seriously marginalized market. Servicing the fine arts market should be better business, especially those sensitive quiche-eating artistes who are too, too precious to use nasty chemicals or do drudge work ;-) Regards Anthony Farr > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of mike > wilson > Sent: Friday, 18 August 2006 7:33 AM > To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List > Subject: Re: Re: For those "in the know" about K10D > > > > > > From: Mark Roberts <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Date: 2006/08/17 Thu PM 04:50:49 GMT > > To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List <pdml@pdml.net> > > Subject: Re: For those "in the know" about K10D > > > > Aaron Reynolds wrote: > > > > >On Aug 17, 2006, at 11:57 AM, graywolf wrote: > > > > > >> I have not checked but I suspect that many of those high volume > > >> quality people labs are still doing business as most pro photographers > > >> still make their money by shooting, not by sitting in front of a > > >> computer > > > > > >In Toronto and the surrounding area, they're dropping like flies. > > > > I suspect the independent photo lab is a very endangered species.
