My Leicas are 40+ years old.  The M3 has had one CLA, the M2 has had two,
the second only because I had it modified and, as long as it was in the
shop, it seemed a good idea to go through it, especially since it had been
a l-o-n-g time since its previous CLA.  Interestingly, both cameras tested
within spec even before their most recent CLA experiences.

I also had a 1934 Leica - it was 70 years old and still worked perfectly
when someone made me an offer on it that I couldn't refuse ;-))
