Godfrey, My only intent is to prevent having to change ISO setting a hundred times a hour in the dark with the D (and D users know what I mean) when shooting concerts the like and wanting to switch back and forth between available light and flash shooting. Nothing more and nothing less. I don't mean the above to be (or not to be) linked to other auto or manual operation af any kind.
My idea is there must be a "ISO sensitivity setting" menu item with the following options: 1 - flash linked to available light 2 - flash independent from available light By choosing option 2, when accessing ISO setting via Fn button you get two items to set.
