I like larger images too, but for me it's more a matter of the file
size. When I prepare shots for posting, I assume that everyone who may
view the photo is on a 56kbps dial-up connection.

Creating a 1024x684 file using save for web in PS CS2 at 100% quality
I get a files around 330-450kB. At 75% the same shots range between
110-180kB. 600-800+ kB is overkill IMO.

And yes, Flucker is a PITA.
