Yeah, I've seen those high-end Avid systems. Nice. Outside the scope of my book because of the price tag and because the book is for amateurs. Unless it's hidden somewhere on Adobe's site, it seems that Premiere is only offered for Windows these days. I'd love to be wrong about that, since I'd love to be able to do a side-by-side comparison with FCP on the same machine.
