My Epson 925 is getting a bit elderly. Still works fine but technology has
passed it by.

I am contemplating entering a local art show. Various types of art, but also
one can enter photography. It's a show/sale actually, I'd have to pay $10 for
six feet of wall, which strikes me as not bad. A local civic arts program that
is truly excellent. I don't really think I'd sell anything, but I think it
would be sort of fun to do and it would also help support the program.

Which means printing. I've been eyeing the Epson R1800, but not sure I really
need to print 11x14s that often. I mean I am really attracted, but it's
somewhat expensive. The R800 is $200 cheaper. Then there's the whole factor
that
the inks can run to a lot, although both used 8 cartridges, so one doesn't need
to replace all the cartridges at one time, one can replace as needed. That I
like.

Anyone have experience with the R1800? Or the R800? Do you like it? What do
you like? What do you not like?

Thanks, Marnie
