John, you appear to make assumption that everyone else's mode of
personal entertainment is the same as yours, given the tirade of
responses here patently it's not for many other people and you just
have to accept that. It's like you telling me that I'm missing out by
not liking liver because it's something that you adore, I just don't
like it, never will, no amount of badgering will change my mind
because it's simply my preference.

I'm very glad to hear that you obviously get great value out of your
home entertainment system, that's brilliant (for you). But trying to
suggest that your preferences are appropriate for everybody is just
plain pig headded, and as this thread progresses I'm pretty sure that
the number of people who do value your post will be diminishing post
by post and that's sad for you and the list.
