I have a phonograph and actually have a thing that plays CD's /tapes and has a radio too. something I've been meaning to ask you electronics types - is there a gadget you can attach to your tv to regulate the sound so that no matter how loud or soft the actual broadcast is you can keep it at the same decible level? I like to fall asleep with the TV on but even when I'm not planning on going to sleep and I'm watching something late at night in the bedroom, a sudden surge of comemrcial volume could get my neighbors in a snit, not to mention suddenly jarring me awake.
