 Pity, because if you put the FA100/2.8 macro lens on it you'll have a  
"scanner".

 There's at least one lab in my city that does it, so I'm sure there are heaps of 
places where you are.  I don't remember the price but I think it was only a 
couple of dollars for a 35mm slide.  It might be hard to find someone who can 
output to larger slides than that.
