There are already full frame digital SLR cameras on the market today, so I dont understand how you can say it wont happen anytime soon based on economics. I am not saying ALL digital SLRS will go full frame eventually, I am saying that I feel eventually all the camera makers will be offering them in top line models because the improvements in APS/da are only going go so far and the appeal of better image quality is never going to go away. jco

Something like 10x-100x to produce FF as opposed to APS-sized IIRC. That part of semiconductor manufacturing hasn't changed appreciably in 30-40 years, so it doesn't seem likely to happen anytime soon. -Cory -- ************************************************************************ * * Cory Papenfuss, Ph.D., PPSEL-IA * * Electrical Engineering * * Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University * ************************************************************************ * -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
