Or go trail riding with a 4 year old on the back of the bike... The
park near my house has some steep climbs with roots, rocks and various
obstacles. Last summer I had a "good" fall with the kid. I popped the
front wheel to go over a big root but forgot about the extra 40 pounds
behind me. The front wheel just kept going up and up and up... I
clipped out of the pedals, managed to plant my feet on the ground but
panicked and didn't apply the rear brake. The bike (with kid's seat and
all) came up through my legs, removing some un-needed skin on my inner
thighs and landed gently on the child seat's back. The kid was unharmed
but was pretty unhappy about the whole situation....

A few minutes later, my friend and has kid stopped, but he was new to
clip-on pedals, couldn't get out of them and sorta just fell over. His
kid was protected by the side of the child seat and helmet. No injuries
to his son, but my friend was pretty banged up from the rocks he landed
on. That was the end of the ride for the day...
